Summer Camp Merit Badges

Posted on Apr 7 2015 - 9:54pm

If you want to go to summer camp and have not signed up; do so ASAP. If you have but have not selected your MB classes; do so ASAP.

Please note Eagle MB Blue Cards must be signed out by SM Paul Wagy, please also note that these MB can not be completely finished at summer camp alone which requires the Scout to coordinate finishing the MB after he returns from summer camp. We offer lots of Eagle MB classes through our Troop so a Scout may have more fun doing other MBs at camp.

The earlier we get your merit badge class selections the better chance you have to get your desired classes. Please copy & paste from the template below your scout’s information (name, DOB, age & any allergies) and their class choices. Email your requests to Margaret Turner, your liaison for the Out-of-State Camp Skymont. Merit badge classes will need to be approved by the scoutmaster.

What’s changing?

There are two major revisions that should be considered separately.  First, the Cooking Merit Badge is now Eagle Required.  The second is a major overhaul to the requirements, which will take effect Jan. 1, 2015.
